The Liberal Narrative on TV
One of the reasons the young are more liberal than older people is that that have less experience with reality, and a lot more experience with television. And on television you mostly find the liberal narrative of reality. We're all familiar with the enormous number of female police captains on TV these days, and their toughness and integrity are beyond dispute. Reality just hasn't caught up with this splendid state of affairs. Another place where reality is lacking is the lack of presence of some sort to very intelligent (tho sometimes nerdy) black guy in every group. Indeed, on TV, groups are always diverse as all get-out, and of course all the better for it. And, Lord know, reality comes a distant second from TV when it comes to portraying all those brilliant Black scientists.
